Eligibility requirement and funding method are not the same
| Scenario | Direct deposit role | What to show |
|---|---|---|
| Cash-advance app | May be used to verify recurring income or eligibility | Deposit threshold/history + actual advance eligibility |
| Personal/installment loan | Often not the product definition | Bank account for disbursement + lender verification |
| Payday/short-term loan | May use ACH/deposit account for funding/repayment | State/product rule + ACH authorization + posting caveat |
| EWA | May be employer/payroll-integrated | Employer/payroll mechanics + next-paycheck effect |
“Funds sent today” is not the same as “available today”
